Company update: ARION delivery status and more

In this blog post we would like to give you an update on when you can expect your ARION to arrive, our new packaging, the free ARION app, and more.

ARION delivery status

When we opened our pre-order store back in May we communicated that the initial batch of ARION would ship from September. After a few months the initial batch was sold out and we communicated that the second batch would ship from October. In this update we would like to address a delay we’re facing, why this happened and when you can expect your ARION to be shipped.

Some of our suppliers were having difficulty sourcing enough components to fulfill the number of ARION units we need to produce. This caused a delay of around six weeks, which means that production will not be finished until the middle of October. Once our partners have completed production, we still need to receive the units, package them and ship them. This means delivery is more likely to be achieved a couple of weeks later.

Unfortunately we’re not able to meet our goal of shipping ARION in September. We’ll be delivering ARION throughout November. Giving individual delivery dates is difficult, it all depends on when the orders were placed and how far they need to be shipped. We would like to sincerely thank you for your patience as we understand this is disappointing news.

We will keep you up to date with all the latest developments on shipment and new product features. In the meantime, feel free to share your input with us regarding any additional features you would like to see in ARION in the future.

New ARION packaging

Recently we finalized the ARION packaging, which you can see in the video below. In this video we’ll show you the packaging and what’s in the box. A nice preview while you’re waiting for your ARION to arrive.

The free ARION app

In August we unveiled the brand new ARION app for iOS and Android. With the ARION app you can keep track of your runs using the GPS on your phone and get real-time feedback on target zones like pace, speed and heart rate. This all can be done even without adding the ARION wearable, so feel free to try it out already.
